BOYS’ SOCCER
Try-outs: Monday August 16th and Tuesday August 17th from 5:00 – 6:30
Location: Lourdes field

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Try-outs: Monday August 16th and Tuesday August 17th from 3:00 – 5:00
Location: Lourdes gym
Coaches: Amy Dever and Jannine LeBlanc
Athletic Fee: $100.00
CROSS COUNTRY
Try-outs: Not applicable, all middle school students are welcome

Girls’ Volleyball Advances to Tournament Finals!
The Girls’ Volleyball team won games on Monday and Tuesday afternoon to advance to the finals of their conference tournament! The finals will be held at St Mary Magdalene at 4:15 on Thursday afternoon. Good luck, girls!
Girls’ Volleyball Finishes with Win
The Girls’ volleyball team finished it’s regular season on Wednesday with a win over Cathedral 25-17, 28-26. Earlier in the week the Lady Lions won big over Immaculata 25-10, 25-9 before dropping a tough match to Mary Magdalene 23-25, 27-25, 21-25. The girls finish with a 12-4 regular season record. Congratulations!
Girls’ Volleyball Improves to 10-3
The Girls’ Volleyball team picked up big wins against Cathedral, TFS and Immaculata to improve to 10-3 on the season!
Girls’ Volleyball Picks Up Three
The girls’ volleyball team continues to roll. Last week the varsity team picked up victories at the Franciscan School (25-18, 25-21), Montessori (25-16, 25-13) and Mary Magdalene (25-17, 25-22) – improving to 6-1 overall! The JV team dropped games to the Franciscan School (17-25) and Mary Magdalene (19-25), but picked up a big win against Montessori (25-12).
Girls’ Volleyball Wins at St. Thomas Moore
The Girls’ Volleyball went to St. Thomas Moore and picked up their third victory of the season. After losing the first game 18-25, the Lady Lions rebounded to win the second game 25-21 and the third 25-17. This is the first time this year they have had to play a deciding third game. Unfortunately, the JV team lost in a 23-25 nail-biter.
Girls’ Volleyball Team Improves to 2-1
On Tuesday, the Girls’ Volleyball team traveled to St. Michael’s and lost 22-25, 19-25. The JV also lost 21-25. They were able to rebound on Thursday and down St. Raphael’s 25-7, 25-17, improving their record to 2-1. The JV team was also victorious, winning 25-14.
Girls’ Volleyball Team Wins Opener
The Girls’ Volleyball team started off their 2008 season on Thursday afternoon with a 25-23 win over St. Thomas Moore. The JV team also came away with a 25-23 victory.
