Girls’ Lacrosse Participates in Pumpkin Shootout!
The OLL Lady Lions Lacrosse team was one of four area middle school teams to play in the Pumpkin Shootout on Sunday, October 26th at Finley Fields in Chapel Hill. The teams played games on shortened fields with 8 players instead of the normal 12. Our team showed great spirit with our specially designed tee shirts (thanks to the Crones)! We played 5 games, and our brand new girls showed great promise as they hustled after the ball and worked together. We are looking forward to our spring season! - Coach Huger

Volunteers Needed!
We need 22 volunteers to hand out promotional materials before the NCSU/Florida State football game next Thursday evening. We will need all volunteers to meet at Gate 11 at Carter Finley Stadium at 5:30pm. All volunteers will receive a free pass to the game (a value of $43.00 each!), which starts at 7:30pm. This is another big ESPN-televised game for the Wolfpack…you never know what the Pack is going to do!
Our preference is to have adults and at least middle-school-age students, but if we are short of volunteers, we may open the slots to younger ages.
Note that we have already raised over $2000 for OLL Athletics so far this year through this NCSU program, thanks to our gracious OLL volunteers!
If you can help with this effort on October 16th, please contact me directly at 818-5204 or michaeldoggett@bellsouth.net.
